National Account Manager

Location - Sterling, Illinois

Internal Auditor

Location - Sterling, Illinois

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded consumer products, has an exciting opportunity for an energetic and team-oriented individual to fill the role of Internal Auditor in the Finance Division at Wahl Clipper Co., in Sterling, IL. 

Key Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain a strong moral and ethical foundation in verifying compliance and disclosing areas of risk management.
  • Strict confidentiality and stay abreast of governmental regulations and works to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent decision making, observation skills, and understanding of requirements of corporate management and the values of Wahl Clipper Corporation.
  • Obtain global cooperation to get honest, complete information to determine policies and procedures are being followed, working with various personalities and individuals of diverse cultures and developing a relationship of trust with open communication while maintaining an unbiased, neutral position.

Experience

  • 3-5 years financial experience, through public accounting/auditing and/or industry experience. Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.

Travel

  • Ability to travel internationally up to 30% of time.

Financial Accounting Manager

Location - Sterling, Illinois

Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of consumer and professional grooming products, is looking to fill the role of Financial Accounting Manager at our Sterling, Illinois facility.  Reporting to the North America CFO, this position plays a key role in the general and financial accounting activities of the company.

Key Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the general ledger and monthly financial closing.
  • Perform account analysis in support of the financial closing and annual audit.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy and generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Assist with the generation of financial reporting & analysis, along with the development of business financial plans.
  • Supervise payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed asset functions.
  • Participate in continuous effort to improve the accounting system and underlying business processes.

The ideal person for this position has the following minimal requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Five (5) plus years of general accounting experience and two (2) plus years as a manager of an accounting staff preferred.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Working knowledge of manual and automated accounting systems in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Manufacturing Engineer

Location - Sterling, Illinois

Wahl is currently searching for a Manufacturing Engineer that will interface and support our factory and suppliers located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This position will be located in our global headquarters in Sterling, IL. The candidate must be fluent in Vietnamese (verbal and written) and must be able to travel to Vietnam frequently.

Key Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide manufacturing and operational support to our Vietnam operations and suppliers
  • Identify, direct, and support projects that will achieve quality, delivery, and cost targets
  • Design, develop, and qualify tools, equipment, and manufacturing processes
  • Support New Product Introductions

The ideal person for this position has the following minimal requirements:

  • Fluent in Vietnamese (verbal and written)
  • 5+ years of “hands on” experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
  • Knowledge and experience with grinding, stamping, or injection molding
  • Experienced in jig and fixture design
  • Experience designing and developing tooling, equipment, or manufacturing processes
  • Technically proficient with mechanical principles and basic knowledge of electrical principles
  • Working knowledge of quality control and assurance systems
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment
  • CAD experience is a plus
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices is a plus
  • Must have good written and oral communication skills
  • The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing).
